Counting, Finance....Arghh

I never liked maths even during my schooling days... i used to be a good copycat during maths time..haha... Rupi was my 'sifu'.....

Now in Uni life... i have to do calculations...ratios, equity knowing the share holders returns earnings, knowing how to actually read a financial statement / annual report... lots of numbers involved.. its an interesting subject no doubt about that.. but the numbers......

are a lot more confusing... last nite had revision class with my lecturer... it was a good session.. had almost about 15 ppl attended the class....crossing my fingers and hoping i can answer the questions and the calculation part.......
Theories are not something easy to remember or keep in mind.... its like history again... (HAFAL)

13th July...Rupi's Birthday

Rupi finally turned 21... 2 weeks more its my turn.. gosh ... the number means a lot to me...especially when i can get to buy my own car, getting a loan to purchase my car or maybe even buy a small apartment ..when i can afford it.. (8i got to pay me more)...
Anyway coming back to Rupi's birthday bash... here are the sequences...
1) got the invitation a week early or so
2) seriously didn't have time to get her a gift... thought of sending her flowers... i choose the orange roses for her.. coincidently..it suited her sari... (hehe)
3) i wanted to send it on her birthday day... surprise.. but guess wat.. they don't really send flowers to the recipient on Sundays unless its a festival or something so i got them to send it on sat..
4) i so wanted to help her on Sunday with the deco n all but i had class till 6pm..haiz... so i told her n only reached her place about 7.15...
5) i even told her i wont be late so i can be in time for the cutting cake ceremony.... which supposed to be 7.30pm..but Indian timing.. it got delayed.. but i guess it was because they were waiting for more ppl to come..especially gombak grandma n cousins...

Quick Update

Hi guys.... I finally decided that i should jus put all my blog in one main blog...Nat's Life rather than confusing myself and others with 3 different blogs...

Anyway jus ignore the dates as i'm still trying to figure out how the timing actually works since my machine's timing is the right time..haiz.... i keep sighing a lot these days....

and do get annoyed fast also.

Laptop.....

its been a long time since i've blog in here... Being busy with work, Uni life and also personal stuff. Doing about my new laptop.. i've jus realized that i haven't even blogged about my Uni life... Ok..guess i have to do after this blog.



I got my new laptop on wednesday at Digital Mall....Brand Acer... 1Mb, 80 GB....n etc..

I so useful to do my assignments n do my additional notes for my classes which are on every weekends. Got Shafraz to help me with the internet setup and also other features..... Very usefull friend i have here.



Actually nothing mush to write about... Jus wanted to be a little jumpy about my new laptop...hehe

Assignments

For the 1st and 2nd paper.. i was enthusiastic to do my assignment and eventually have time to study. Now I'm in my third paper... financial. and i haven't even started on it. Thank god, my management assignment, i've done part of it.

My lecture seems to have another exam (mid-term exams) whereby the final paper is two weeks after that. Haizz......

Then came up with one ruling... everyone has to get a financial calculator., What the heck is that?? and it cost about RM130... no way I'm buying that because after exam.. sure it will be lying around.. waste my money.... there are other alternatives in using the scientific calculator or the financial tables.. which is way simpler that the earlier one.
This weekend i must start studying and start using my new laptop.....

Thinking about life

Love life is getting better for me... he has really changed but still something missing... i wonder which part la... once U have been cheated..you will always feel like that someone is lying.

I hope things will get better by end of this year and then i will properly decided... whether the truth is there or i was blinded again...
Can we all live in this world without love.. i guess no because we still have our family and frens.. but what about someone special.... honesty is the most important thing in a relationship..no matter with who you are having the relationship.Love life is getting better for me... he has really changed but still something missing... i wonder which part la... once U have been cheated..you will always feel like that someone is lying.

Sick..:(

My body system is getting worst now.. since i came back form Vietnam. i was sick with flu and fever.... then a week after that i was much better.. definetly i need to be better since I've meet 2 doctors in a week... had some tablets n cough mixture.. now i'm kinda used to swollowing medication no matter big or smallThis week again... just 2 weeks after falling ill, now I'm infected with sore throat and coughing like a dog.... this is really bad... was planning to visit the gym since. I'm putting on weight like hell.. has to be postponed due to this..


I might visit Assuntha.. the last time i went there. it only took 2 mins to be examined but waited for almost 20mins.. no patients but because the doctor went for a short nap.... Hiazz.....
Can i go anywhere else to get better besides the doc.. i never like the doctors visit, be it for sick or dentist... i rather fall ill for a week than going there.. but it seems like for the past 2 years, doctors visit are getting more frequent... which is a bad signIts not that i don't like the doctor even if he;snot cute.. but seriously i haven't meet a cute doctor yet... have you?? the smell of medicine will make me even more sick and the environment is never pleasant no matter the interior is in a good design.

Vietnam trip

Wow...time really flies man.... no time for myself anymore... work & assignment are piling up...
can i have more than 24 hours in a day?? sigh....



Coming back to my actual topic... i was assigned to Vietnam (16/6 till 19/6) which didn't make me happy mainly because i was going all by myself. I never liked going anywhere alone.. maybe too manja already... my bf was upset also but when work comes in ... you cant really say no right unless you want to lose the job.

It was a summit organized by IBM... and me as a marketing gal.. had to do my job but indeed i was happy because i did fulfill my main objective and definitely made Vikram happy. Meet a lot of potential clients and partners. This is going to make my job a little easier.....

Didn't have much time. to go around for site seeing.. but i took this chance to go shopping, got the traditional costume for myself (a red one)..will post the photo when i wear it... its still in the plastic.. no time to or rather to say no occasion to wear it. it was cheap (USD14)... went around for souvenir's.... for my mum and bf only...

Food was not an open choice for us as everything was served with pork.... no choice but to slow it down the throat... hotel food was evenly good but u cant always eat the hotel food...

another sad thing is.. i forgot my camera.... so no pics for this blog... (like i have for my other blogs) ;(

I went to the ChuChi Tunnel.... amazing tunnel.... it's so small that it was almost a size of a pint size 10 year old kid. Imagine... how small were people at that time. Its a hand dug tunnel. for almost 300km long and 3 layers underground. Wow... they even had a smokeless kitchen.... some innovative traps to kill the Americans... I had a chance to walk through the tunnel.... dark n scary men.... but it was a good experience that i had..... seems like i was there during the war. And the best part was the shooting range you get to try your hands on.. cool

i will definetly visit Vietnam again to see the Mekong, Hanoi and etc... but with lots of mineral water and Maggi..... They do have Chinese food but its still cooked their style...

Another reminder.. beware of motorcycles when you're crossing the roads...... its scary ... no traffic lights but way less of accidents compared to Malaysia.

Good experience...... Cant wait to travel again......... But i hope i wont fall sick for a week... it was bad... glad i'm recovered now.
